Clara Kleininger-Wanik, a visiting researcher at the UBCO property at Woodhaven in 2025, created a 10-minute film about water in Woodhaven when she was in residence for a month. Her film, Thirsty, was screened at the Student Okanagan film festival on April 27th at the University Theatre on the UBCO campus where the film won the Jury Prize at the festival. Clara, who is studying at Exeter University in the U.K. kindly donated her $100 prize money to The Friends of Woodhaven. Clara has also offered the film for us to put on our website and to share widely!
