Watershed Restoration

In the past several decades, human activity has depleted the amount of water entering Woodhaven. This once cool, damp forest is becoming too dry, creating a fire hazard instead of a haven.

Without urgent action, the loss of this biodiverse gem will be irreversible.

Fire Prevention

Years of drought and shifting climate patterns have left Woodhaven increasingly vulnerable to wildfire. Protecting this forest means balancing ecological preservation with proactive fire management.

Our Restoration and Fire Mitigation Project works to maintain the park’s natural integrity while reducing risk through community collaboration and careful planning.
